welcome to our story

On a particularly bad day, a very dear friend sent me the words of Soren Kierkegaard - "Life can only be understood backwards; but must be lived forwards"

This is my living forwards and understanding backwards. It started as my way of sharing with you the story of my sweet son, George Mason, through the lens of my grief but the beauty of the promise of eternal life. It has become something so much bigger than that.

This is a celebration of life, a mourning of death, and the in-between waiting for eternity that we call living. It is all the ways that God has worked in my life and all the promises of His that I have had to work through, believe in, and hold tightly to, in the midst of the sorrow of child loss. It is the joy that can be found in even the darkest places as I learn to truly abide in Him.
